Whose path are you on?

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Victoria in email asked me, “What does it mean, ‘Whose path are you on?'”

What a great question! Basically there are only two paths a person can chose to be on; one path goes towards God and the second path goes away from God.

Jesus boldly claimed, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me. If you had really known me, you would know who my Father is. From now on, you do know him and have seen him!” (John 14: 6-7) Simply put, Jesus said, “If you see Me, you have seen the Father.” (John 14:9)

Jesus said in (Matthew 10:33) “whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.” Jesus also said in (Matthew 12:30) “Whoever is not with me is against me. Whoever does not work with me is working against me.”

Basically Jesus made it clear that there are only two paths, one with Him and one without Him.

Religions give rules to live by, but none of them offers the ultimate solution to man’s sin, or shows us the way to God. Jesus not only shows us the way, He IS the way-the ONLY way.

If your choice made a difference only in this life, it wouldn’t matter much. But Jesus, as God the Son, is THE representative of the One God, Creator of everything, and as we have already seen, our decision to follow Jesus (or not) has eternal results.

Do you see clearly which path you are on? I look forward to hear what you think.
