What are you afraid of? There’s no need to fear!

Reading Time: 4 minutes

Today there’s so much going on in the political world that well, lets face it, does not give me the most confidence in our government leadership. Now I’m not just talking about the so called leadership that we are supposed to have in Washington, D.C. either. I’m talking about all levels from homeowners associations, city, county, state, USA, with all other countries included and all levels that may be in between.

There seems to be no leadership as unemployment is going up, markets are going down, retirement plans are dropping, taxes are going up, it’s harder to make ends meet, crime rates are going up, and it seems like everyday there’s a new murder with many multiple killings and suicides increasing.

All that along with the things that I didn’t mention like the talks of (dependent upon who you listen to) global warming, global heating, earthquakes, volcanoes, swine flu, cancer, HIV, AIDS, along with a host of other stuff that could happen to you makes for a rather very scary world we live in doesn’t it? With the horror movies touch of today’s media it makes the world feel even more scary too!

Of all listed above, what are you afraid of? Or do you fear something which is not on that list?

Some people are afraid to die. Some people “say” that they do not fear death. Some people live their life as if to “say” that they do not fear death. These people all fear death. Do you?

You and I do not have to fear anything. We need to be afraid of nothing as long as we have placed our faith in God’s gift to us. Accepting God’s gift to you costs you nothing and is very freeing because you no longer need to be afraid.

Think of how much relief you will have from the world of troubles with your choice to place your faith into God and accept His free gift to you. Read the following verses from the Holy Bible and see how much God loves you and me with these promises He made to you and me. If you accept Him and the free gift He has offered to you, you will feel His protection and perfect love for you.

Psalms 56:4 – In God, whose word I praise, In God I have put my trust; I shall not be afraid. What can mere man do to me?

Psalms 56:11 – In God I have put my trust, I shall not be afraid. What can man do to me?

Proverbs 3:25 – Do not be afraid of sudden fear Nor of the onslaught of the wicked when it comes;

Isaiah 12:2 – "Behold, God is my salvation, I will trust and not be afraid; For the LORD GOD is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation."

Isaiah 44:8 [God speaking] – “`Do not tremble and do not be afraid; Have I not long since announced it to you and declared it? And you are My witnesses. Is there any God besides Me, Or is there any other Rock? I know of none.' "

Some people are afraid to live. These people hold up and are afraid to fully live their life for whatever reason. Do you?

God wants you and me to live our life here on earth knowing that He is in control of everything. Even though we do not know what comes for us tomorrow, God wants us to not fear because He is in control and He loves us. We need to put our faith in God and not be afraid to live and not be afraid to die. God loves us and He has given us a great gift and all we need to do is accept it. No strings attached. No worries and no broken promises with God.

Read these Holy Bible passages and learn more about the faith you need to have in God so that you too do not have to be afraid.

Do not be afraid to ask God to comfort you from your fears. Do not be afraid to ask God for forgiveness of your sins. Do not be afraid to place your faith in God and accept Jesus as your savior.

Do make your choice right now to put your faith in God because you do not know what comes tomorrow without having placed your faith in God.

It is your choice and only your choice to make. No one else can make it for you. Make a wise choice and accept Jesus as your savior today.
