The word “science” is used in many ways. Many secular humanists try to redefine science as “naturalism”—the belief that nature is “all there is.” In other words, by attempting to equate “science” (knowledge) with “naturalism” (a secular belief) they exclude the possibility of miracles before they even examine the evidence. But normal (operational) science deals only with repeatable observable processes in the present, while origins science helps us to make educated guesses about origins in the past. Since the Bible has demonstrated itself to be accurate time and time again, we have knowledge from history that miracles have indeed occurred.
Naturalism is not science; rather, naturalism is a fallacious philosophical bias. In fact, naturalism is actually incompatible with science. However, the miracles in Scripture are fully compatible with true science.
The Bible has been "confirmed" scientifically, historically, and archaeologically by observing the evidence which exists for everyone to see. Over and over again and again, the Bible is “confirmed” scientifically, historically, and archaeologically meaning that the content in the Bible has merit to what it says within it due to what the Bible says being found scientifically, historically and archaeologically accurate. Note that being scientifically, historically, and archaeologically, “confirmed” does not “prove” that the message given in the Bible is “true” yet it being “confirmed” in all of these ways give great merit to the message contained within the Bible as being true.
The Bible presumes that the Universe is ordered and follows rational physical laws which can be determined by man. Think about it like this: why is the universe ordered and why does if follow rational laws? The answer is that there is a Creator; God is logical and has imposed order on the universe. The universe obeys laws because there is a Law-giver. And why should it be possible for these laws to be discovered by man? The answer is that God has given us that ability; God created our mind—we are in His image. In fact, the Bible encourages us to gain understanding and wisdom (Proverbs 4:5, 4:7).
However, if naturalism was true—if nature is “all there is”—then why should the universe have such order? If the universe were merely an accident, the result of a “big bang” as most naturalists believe, then why should it obey rational physical laws? Why would there be laws if there is no law-giver? And why should our brains (supposedly the product of random mutations and natural selection) be able to understand the universe? Why should one accident be able to understand another? The idea of naturalism is therefore incompatible with science. Only the Bible gives the proper foundation for scientific inquiry.
If we start from the Bible, the universe makes sense. God sustains the universe in a logical orderly way that can be described mathematically. But God is all-powerful and can suspend the laws of nature when He wishes.
To summarize: God can do what He wants; He’s God! Therefore, miracles are possible. But God normally upholds the universe in a consistent and orderly way that humans are capable of describing mathematically. Therefore, science is possible.
The Bible contains scientific truths that man has only in recent years been able to learn yet the Bible was written thousands of years ago.
That the shape of the earth is indeed round (cf. Isa. 40:22; Luke 17:26).
The suspension of the earth in space (cf. Job 26:7).
That to the north there is nothing but blackness (cf. Job 26:7).
The weather cycle of the elements is continuous (cf. Jer. 10:13; Eccl. 1:72).
The ocean currents (cf. Psalms 8:8).
That the element of life is in the blood (cf. Lev. 17:10-16).
All nations of men came from one common origin (cf. Acts 17:26).
Medical practices that prevent diseases, from a study of the Levitical Hygienical Laws (cf. Lev. 13; 14), also read "None Of These Diseases."
That the number of stars cannot be numbered (cf. Gen. 13:16; 15:5).
The art of ship building, or the proper pattern for ship building (cf. Gen. 6:15).
The Classification of animals life: plant life, animal life, marine life, human life, etc. (cf. Gen. 1; I Cor. 15:37-41).
The five major points of science (Gen. 1:1-2).
In the beginning — time.
God created the heaven — space.
And the earth — matter.
And the Spirit of God — force.
Moved upon the face of the waters — motion.
That man cannot create or destroy matter or energy (Matt. 6:27).
There are many other scientific confirmations of the Bible, yet the greatest proof is that true science realizes that in Science that the Laws are fixed, and that nothing can change those laws. Who made those laws? God created all things, and He fixed the boundary of their habitation.
The historical reliability of the bible has been dramatically confirmed particularly in this century through archaeological discoveries. All sorts of details have been confirmed through the discovery of ancient documents, through the examination of artifacts, and in some cases through excavations of entire ancient cities. These finding have consistently supported the historicity of the Bible. In fact it’s safe to say that with every turn of the archaeologist’s spade, the historicity and accuracy of the Bible is further confirmed. In this article there’s a comparison between the atheist worldview and the biblical worldview which also answers your question; http://findingtruthtoday.typepad.com/finding-truth-today/2010/01/beyond-doubt—christianity-is-true—atheism-is-false.html

This link is a great article about how Biblical faith is not “blind” and how it is supported by science. http://www.answersingenesis.org/articles/2006/04/07/biblical-faith-not-blind
Anyone doing an honest search for truth will discover that the Bible is "confirmed" scientifically, historically, and archaeologically. As for the confirmation of the Bible scientifically, historically, and archaeologically demonstrating the Bible’s message of Christ Jesus being God’s only begotten Son born of a virgin and living a sinless life being true, none of these methods can “confirm” nor “prove” nor can they “disprove” Christ Jesus is God’s only begotten Son born of a virgin who lived a sinless life. However to me, the Bible being scientifically, historically, and archaeologically confirmed over and over gives great acclamation to the validity of the Bible’s message and was one of the many reasons I took a step of faith and placed my faith into Christ Jesus as my savior to which beyond doubt I know God exists because He revealed Himself to me.
You too can experience God’s existence if you seek truth. God respects our freedom. If and only if we love the truth with our heart, our mind, and soul will you find the truth about God’s love for you. The choice to seek truth is a free choice. And all seekers find. http://findingtruthtoday.org/TheSkepticsPrayer.aspx
